Self-Help Groups (SHGs)

Self-help groups (SHGs) are powerful vehicles for social and economic empowerment, and at Philadelphia Rural Development Society (PRDS), we are committed to promoting the formation and strengthening of SHGs in Jagdalpur and surrounding areas. Our SHG initiatives focus on building the capacity of women and marginalized groups to come together, pool their resources, and engage in collective savings, credit, and income-generating activities for mutual benefit and community development.

We believe that SHGs empower individuals to take control of their own lives and destinies, providing them with a platform to voice their concerns, access financial services, and support each other in times of need. That's why our programs provide training and capacity-building support to SHGs, helping them develop leadership skills, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial abilities to become self-reliant and resilient agents of change in their communities.

Join us in our efforts to promote collective empowerment and community development through self-help groups. Together, we can create a more inclusive, equitable, and resilient society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
